I'm a woman, a mother, a wife, an aunt, a cousin, a stepsister, a sister-in-law, a daughter, a daughter-in-law, a granddaughter..! Not so different from anyone, really. I'm overweight, overtired, over40, and overscheduled. I'm underutilized, under pressure, and understanding.
Dream job is to travel the country and blog about life. And maybe sing in a wedding band. Or I guess a country band - because even though I'm quick to say I can't stand the genre, I'm dang good at singing it, and I can't seem to stop writing songs in that style. Which is weird. I do like beer in solo cups. And whiskey. Maybe I just need to lean in a bit.
I've lived in quite a few places from coast to coast, I've travelled a bit, both nationally and internationally, and am striving to find an America I'm proud to see my children thrive in. Come join me. Let's find it together...
